THE COMPANY
The main business of Oriente Business Tower SIGI is the acquisition and management of real estate assets.
Oriente Business Tower SIGI is a Portuguese public limited company operating under the SIGI regime (Real Estate Investment and Management Company), as set out in Decree-Law no. 19/2019 of January 28, as amended.
Sonae Sierra will act as the real estate manager of Oriente Business Tower SIGI, bringing over 30 years of experience in the sector. Sonae Sierra currently manages approximately 140 assets with a value of €6.2 billion and 15 investment vehicles. It has an established platform and local teams across Europe, Latin America and North Africa, providing services in more than 50 countries.
The objective of Oriente Business Tower SIGI is to acquire real estate assets with long-term growth potential, in order to generate value for its clients, leveraging the expertise and experience of its managers, Sonae Sierra and Bankinter.

Alberto Jorge Reis de Oliveira Ramos
Board of Directors
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oriente Business Tower SIGI.
Alberto is currently Country Manager and a member of the Executive Committee of Bankinter Portugal, a position he has held since 2017, and Head of Commercial Banking at Bankinter Portugal, a role he has held since 2016.
Since 2019, he has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Olimpo Real Estate Portugal SIGI and Atrium Bire SIGI. Between 2007 and 2016, he held various positions at Barclays Bank Portugal and Barclays Bank Iberia.
Between 1994 and 2006, he also held several roles at Banco Espírito Santo. Alberto holds a degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto (FEP). He also holds an MBA from the Portuguese Catholic University and a Master’s degree in Finance, completed in 2011, from Ashridge Business School.
Vitor Freitas Duarte
Board of Directors
Vítor Freitas Duarte is a Senior Director of Real Estate Investment Management at Sonae Sierra, based in Porto. He has over 20 years of experience in the European real estate market, with a strong track record in transactions with institutional investors and family offices.
Since joining Sonae Sierra in 2004, he has held several leadership roles in investment management, corporate control and strategic planning. Prior to his current role, he served as Corporate Controller, overseeing European operations and leading efficiency and strategic initiatives.
Vítor holds a degree in Business Management from the University of Porto and an MBA from ESADE/NYU Stern, as well as an Advanced Management Program (AMP) from INSEAD.
Pedro Maria Sagués González-Estrada
Board of Directors
Pedro Sagués González-Estrada has been Managing Director of Investment Banking at Bankinter, S.A. since 2011. Previously, he served as Managing Director of Corporate Finance, first at Haitong Bank, S.A. from 2005 to 2008, and subsequently at Socios Financieros, S.A. from 2008 to 2011.
Pedro holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE), in Madrid. He also holds an MBA from IE Business School, completed in 2004.
Since 2012, he has been a Professor of Economics and Banking Management at Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros, S.L. (CUNEF), in Madrid.
Margarida Mourão Ferreira
Board of Directors
Margarida Mourão Ferreira is Head of Portfolio Management at Sonae Sierra, based in Lisbon. She has over 15 years of experience in the real estate sector, with a strong track record in transactions and asset portfolio management.
Since joining Sonae Sierra in 2023, she has been part of the Investment Management department and currently leads a team managing several investment vehicles with assets in the Iberian Peninsula and Germany.
Prior to her current role, she worked for 12 years at one of Portugal’s leading private equity firms.
Margarida holds a degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Finance, both from Nova School of Business and Economics.
Vitor Pereira
Board of Directors
Vítor Pereira has over 30 years of experience in the banking sector, having developed most of his career in commercial areas, marketing, strategy and customer segment management.
Before joining Bankinter in 2016, he held several senior management positions at Barclays Bank Portugal, including Chief Marketing Officer and member of the Executive Committee, as well as responsibilities in marketing and business development at Iberian and European levels.
At Bankinter Portugal, he has led areas such as Products, CRM, Marketing, Channels and Digital Strategy, and since 2025 has been responsible for the Corporate Banking division.
He holds a degree in Business Management from Universidade Fernando Pessoa, a Master’s degree in Banking Business Management from Universidade Católica de Lisboa, and an Advanced Management Program from Universidade Católica and Kellogg School of Management – Northwestern University.
ASSET
Oriente Business Tower is part of the modern Torres Colombo office complex and was designed to meet the needs of large companies. With a total gross area of 29,000 sqm, it features 14 floors with approximately 2,000 sqm of open space each, offering high flexibility in space usage and unique visibility.
Oriente Business Tower is located next to the 2nd Circular Road, just a few minutes from the airport, Gare do Oriente and the city centre. It benefits from privileged access to the main road networks due to its proximity to the North-South Axis. It is also served by major public transport links (Colégio Militar/Luz Metro station).
